The Facewaver is a mask you use five minutes a day, and has the purpose of stretching and tightening your face and cheeks, kneading out wrinkles, lines and sag.
When it comes to relative advantage, the Facewaver is a product I have never seen anything like, but it will be competing against facial creams and skin products. However, the Facewaver require regularly physical activity, which usually is not an advantage when it comes to grade and speed of adoption, because people prefer the easiest way to get results. The fact that the Facewaver is less attractive as well speaks to its disadvantage.
Considering the compatibility of this product it product may have a target group in a society that focuses on physical appearance, but this is not a product normal to wear in public, and that would limit it’s compatibility.
This is a product with little adaptability, other than cutting it and using it for medical purposes, there is not a lot of re-inventability in this product.
This product does not have a high observability, at least not in a short-term perspective, but over time this might give results, giving higher observability if used regularly. Therefore this product would be adopted slowly.
If you want to improve this product and increase the speed of adoption, I would suggest a face mask with more rubber bands that has the same function, but covers less of you face. This might not give the same results, but I believe the lack of attractiveness of this mask scares many potential customers away. The price of $62 is also a bit to high for the everyday consumer who just wants to try it out. A lower price might have increased the posibility of high speed of adoption, but I believe that this product will have problems reaching out to the generalist consumer group at that price.
